Italian Osteria Eats: 14” Artisanal Pizza
At Giolitti’s Deli, we make artisanal pizza from scratch with the finest ingredients, including 00 Caputo flour to make an authentically crispy pizza crust like you’d find in the heart of Italy. We have five varieties of artisanal pizzas available, including Margherita, Funghi, Boscaiola, Quattro Formaggi, and Giolitti’s Special. One of our favorite varieties is the Margherita pizza, which is made from fresh mozzarella, our homemade Italian tomato-based pizza sauce, sliced tomatoes, and topped with basil. Looking for an Italian pizza with meat? Check out our Boscaiola pizza, which features sauteed mushrooms paired with mild sausage for only $14.95.
Gourmet Sandwiches for Lunch
We have a large selection of gourmet sandwiches available for lunch, served daily for take-out. You can choose from either our house favorites or build-your-own sandwich as either a half or whole. The Roman house favorite is loaded with thinly-sliced prosciutto, capicola, and provolone on an Italian roll with shredded lettuce, tomato, white onion, our in-house dressing and hot peppers for only $8.95 half and $12.95 whole. Build your own gourmet sandwich with your choice of breads, meats, cheeses, condiments, and extras for only $4.95 half and $8.95 a whole!
Italian Dinner Appetizer: Bruschetta Sampler
One of our top favorite appetizers from our Italian dinner menu is the bruschetta sampler plate, available for $7.95. Our bruschetta sampler comes with traditional garlic bread topped with freshly-diced Roma tomatoes, minced garlic, basil, homemade tapenade (olive spread), marinated artichoke spread, and mushroom spread. This casual, Italian appetizer is sure to be a hit with your whole family and is a great light bite paired with a glass of seasonal wine.
